Offset greenhouse gas emissions and show solidarity.

Climate change affects us all. However, it does not affect all people equally and not all people can counter its effects with the same financial resources and infrastructure.
Efforts must be made everywhere on earth to protect our climate and preserve the earth for humanity in a liveable condition. With international carbon offset projects, we can support people in disadvantaged regions with sustainable development, in creating resilient habitats and in improving living conditions, while at the same time offsetting our own CO₂e emissions. 

It is a particular concern of ours that we source projects directly from project operators. This allows us to offer the highest level of transparency coupled with the highest quality. It is important to us that the projects are operated fairly and, in addition to saving CO₂, have many additional social and environmental benefits in line with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We deliberately do not offer low-cost projects, as we want to prevent companies from offsetting all emissions. Our goal is to ensure that as few emissions as possible have to be offset by implementing reduction measures in our own operations.

We want to meet our customers' desire to support climate protection in their own region or country with our regional climate protection projects.

Our portfolio includes regional projects that demonstrate additional CO₂e savings and can thus be used to offset unavoidable emissions. However, these are not internationally known or recognised standards. We therefore only recommend such projects to companies that do not have to provide proof of international certification for offset projects.

Precisely because an offset project needs the "currency" CO₂e, many meaningful and climate-relevant projects (e.g. species protection, soil fertility, awareness raising, etc.) fall through the cracks. Some projects can prove CO₂e savings, but are so costly or achieve only such a small reduction in emissions that certification is not worthwhile. We also want to support such projects.
